Bioinformatics week in Odaiba 2010iBiWO2010j

5 Conferences concerning to bioinformatics will be held during "Bioinformatics Week in Odaiba 2010 (BiWO2010)", July 28 - 30, 2010, at AIST Tokyo waterfront, Odaiba, Tokyo.

yThe 133rd Kanto-area Colloquium of The Mass Spectrometry Society of Japanz

The colloquium is a half-day course on MassBank, a public mass spectral database contributed by metabolomics research communities. It consists of introductory lectures on the MassBank tools for metabolite identification by using merged ESI-MS/MS data, Mass++ and chemical formula. Lectures are followed by practices of the tools on PC. A new topic included is a Wiki-based annotation of mass spectral data.

yThe 311th Meeting of The Chem]Bio lnformatics Societyz

The CBI Association, established in 1981, has sponsored nearly three hundred meetings over the past two decades. These include lectures, seminars, and symposia on chemical computing, molecular biology, and informatics. All of these activities were financially supported by members of the CBI Company Association. The Association includes a wide range of leading Japanese companies in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, computers and informatics.

y22nd IPSJ Special Interest Group on Bioinformatics (IPSJ SIGBIO)z

22nd IPSJ SIGBIO will provide a general forum for disseminating the latest research in computational aspects for life science research.Development and application of computational methods to biological and medical science research produce new challenges in computer science. According to increase in genome and its related information, combinatorial research of biology, chemistry, physics and biotechnology with computer science is important to discover novel biological phenomena from the huge amount of data. This workshop will exchange research results and address new computational problems that are useful for life science.

yJSBi-SIG on Pharma-Informaticsz

In JSBi-SIG on Pharma-Informatics group, we discuss bioinformatics for real drug discovery by the researchers of academa, IT industry, and pharmaceutical company. This meeting will feature the issues, for the informatics for target discovery and validation, quality contorl of high througput screening, selection and design of small compound, and analysis of pre-clinical and clinical data.

yComputational Biology Research Center Workshop 2010z

CBRC2010 is an annual workshop of the Computational Biology Research Center (CBRC) that performs bioinformatics research on a variety of topics. This meeting will feature software demonstration, oral presentations, and poster session, in addition to three invited talks by outstanding scientists. These will provide participants with both an overview of CBRC's research activity and the opportunity to directly discuss individual topics with the presenters. Call for potsers
