The amount of data in the area of Life Science has grown exponentially. In order to use databases, analysis/prediction tools and software more efficiently in the field of life science, various issues need to be addressed. CBRC has participated in the Life Science Database Integration project by MEXT, and we are developing a ¡Èbioinformatics integration system¡É that seamlessly combines useful bioinformatics software/tool and databases using latest information technology and large scale computational technology.
¡üActive Workflow: By using excellent operative platform environment that is called KNIME, user can freely combines software, tool, data base, and Web service, etc. that are analytic elements made node, and decide flow of easiness to use and analytical processing.
¡üWeb server: By defining the analytic elements beforehand on Web service , user can specify the parameter etc. within the permitted range, and easily execute the service.
¡üCooperation: We are working on the development of an integrated analytical system that cooperates with another research institutes such as life science integration data base centers (DBCLS).
